The experience my grandma had here was just plain awful... the nurses on the 6th floor were extremely unprofessional and had no sense of urgency whatsoever. My grandother paged them to come to the room and they replied with ok and then immediately paged back and asked, "well what do u need?" She needed assistance gettin off the toilet bc she had been on it for hours and no one even checked on her. I had to ask them to feed her bc it was gettin late and she wasn't even given a menu. I was callin from Columbia to check on my grandma and asked a nurse why she was bein released and was concerned that they were sendin her home without any instructions on how to use her oxygen tank and her reply was. "We'll maybe you or another family member should be there to help her" trust and believe that I drove immediately to her to make sure that home care was there to help her out. I can't help that I live 2 hrs away, but it's a shame that i have to worry ab her goin back to this hospital if there's an emergency. I wouldn't recommend this hospital to my worst enemy.
I was in the hospital for 2 days and had a heart Cath done and the I get a bill for 78,315.29. Then I get another bill for 88,771.64, this hospital is a ripoff. I will never go back to hospital ever again. Try to find out now how I get two bill with two different Balances on them.
Almost as bad as McLeod. But still just a bunch of people who really don't care if you live or die and they took an oath. But they don't give a f apparently. Hold for 10min then hung up in my face. Bunch of b.s. and sitting on hands or run around accomplishing nothing. SC healthcare is fubar big time. Fit only for the recking ball. Stay out of SC if your sick or get sick run as fast as u can fo4 the border these people want to kill u and leave a memory thats y its memorial hospital. Well now peopl3 are gonna kno. Love SC but the law and healthcare systems are so backwards. When some1 says what's 2+2 They say X!!!!!!!!! good 4 nothing but to rape your insurance without helping fixing your problem." I love this hospital and I personally feel people who complain are typically the ones with little to no real issues. My ex husband has been in this hospital on several occasions for diabetes and high blood pressure and he is in and with a doctor within an hour. I personally, gave birth to my daughter here and the L&D ward was incredible. Everyone was so incredibly nice and took great care of us. Even my ex who went into anaphylactic shock the night after I had our daughter. My daughter herself has been here for an allergic reaction to ants and was seen promptly. If your condition is not serious, you do not get seen first. Its not a first come, first serve basis, its about who needs help more than the other. You wouldn't pass over someone with a gun shot wound for someone with a common cold right? Springs is great. Always has been.
Had major stomach pain they did one set of labs told me I was fine and took 4 hours to shuttle me out even though I was still hurting. Huge disappointment.
